Nuclear Astrophysics

We have a large and active nuclear astrophysics group which provides an excellent environment for PhD training in this exciting, multi-disciplinary research area. The links below gives more details on the current research being carried out by the group at research facilities in Canada, USA, Spain and Finland and also about the detector development projects which we are undertaking.

Our research is supported by a £0.359 M grant from STFC. Two additional grants of £0.396 M and £0.596M support detector development projects which will provide state-of-the-art experimental setups for new activities in future years.
